Yoga with Liz

Offering online classes through Zoom

I am an ordinary woman with a desire to be conscious every moment of the presence of the divine. In Yoga I have found an excellent tool towards developing this awareness. Life is a great teacher..today I am aware of my breathing, drinking, eating, seeing, listening, staying comfortable, interacting self as a very integral part of of the Divine. The yoga classes that I teach bring encourage students respect their physical limitations, and at the same time to let go of their intellect, their concerns, their limitations and find true freedom.

Hatha Yoga

Using Para Yoga techniques of deep mindfulness, pranayama (breathing), depth in traditional yoga poses, at a pace that allows you to drop deeper into the practice. Feel the Light~

Restorative Yoga

Like the name suggests, this form of yoga is meant to do just that. Some poses will be held up to 12 minutes. Once a week, Restoration allows us to let go of our junk, detoxify and allow healing and rejuvenation to take over.

Participants can require props like cushions, blankets, yoga blocks (or stacks of thick books), and a strap or long scarf to enjoy the poses fully.

Kundalini Yoga

Fun and incredibly efficient, challenging, yet simple enough for beginners, Kundalini yoga has often been called the “yoga of awareness”. It blends dynamic movement with held postures, breath techniques, deep relaxation, meditation, mudras (hand positions), and mantras (chanting).

Expect fun surprises in Kundalini Yoga class as sets vary and can contain everything from aerobic, strength-training to singing and dancing to quiet, introspective meditation.

Meditation

Join a sangha (family of participants) to do this sadhana (practice). Meditate to connect with your breath, to be present to the life force in your body, to re-establish your connection to your higher self. Learn different healing meditations from the Kundalini tradition.

Be a spot of ground where nothing is growing,
where somethig might be planted,
a seed, possibly, from the Absolute.
